SEARCHING FOR A FACE

When the night chill kiss my feet,
When stars shine in the sapphire sky,
I hear the wind whisper to me,
“Are you searching for a face?”
I give my silence to them and
Felt their departure after a while.

Does the Zinnia look at me?
I can’t read their feelings now.
Once I plucked them but now not
I am searching for a face.

Sleep comes to call me back
Once again my eyes penetrate the dusk
I am searching for a face,
Beneath the gooseberry branches,
Aside the long pathways,
Blindly, in the midst of darkness.

A little pain embraced me
My visions get drenched
Silver beads hang on my eyes
Doors are closed before me

I go a long through my sleep
Madly through my dreams
Searching for a face….
MY EVENING THOUGHTS

An unknown sadness sleeps in my eyes
I wish to write on the torn pages
But…not a drop of ink in my pen
Oh! What a plight! What a pain!

An unknown sadness sleeps in my eyes

Not a breeze beyond the window
I stared at my weeping shadow
Sun is waving its golden hands
Leaving the darkness on the sands

An unknown sadness sleeps in my eyes

Be a shower whenever I weep
I will give my thoughts so deep
Be a storm whenever I wish
I will give my voice so harsh
